Make a one-page plan in plain words: 1) how these calls usually sound and the pressure tricks they use (urgency, secrecy, gift cards, wire transfers, crypto), 2) a family safe word or question and simple rules for using it, 3) a 'hang up and call back on the number you know' habit, 4) what to do if money was already sent. Then draft a short, warm text I can send them explaining the plan, and a printable card for near the phone. Keep it calm, not scary. Don't contact anyone yourself.
