Musecases (musecases.app) is operated by ArgentLabs LLC. This page describes what the site actually collects and why. Questions or requests: legal@musecases.app.

What we collect

• Email address — only if you log in. We use it to send one-time login codes and to identify your account. It is never shown publicly. In supported browsers, your browser may instead verify your address with your email provider, so no code needs to be sent.
• Username — the public username you choose after your first login. It is shown as @username on every prompt you post, and anyone can see it, so don’t use your real name or email unless you want them public.
• Prompts you publish — public and shown with your username, never your email. We keep a private link between each prompt and your account so you can delete it and so we can enforce posting limits and moderation.
• Votes — recorded against your account, or against an anonymous browser identifier if you are not logged in, so each browser or account counts once per prompt. When you log in, votes from that browser move to your account.
• Reports — the prompt you reported and any reason you give. Report details are visible only to moderators.
• Request data — your IP address and the country Cloudflare associates with your connection are used when each request is handled, to apply rate limits and to decide whether posting and voting are available. We do not store raw IP addresses in our database.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies:

• a session cookie that keeps you logged in (expires after 30 days or when you log out);
• an anonymous voter cookie that lets your votes count once without an account;
• a short-lived login cookie that ties a login code to the browser that requested it.

There are no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies.

Service providers

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests, stores our database, and delivers login emails. When bot protection is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile may check your browser before you request a login code, post, vote, or report. Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy.

When you publish a prompt, we may send its text (and nothing else: no username, email, or account details) to TypeSafe AI, which suggests a category tag and flags prompts that may be harmful so a moderator can review them. These safety results are visible only to moderators and never hide a prompt on their own.

We do not sell personal data, run ads, or use third-party analytics.

Retention

• Login codes expire after 10 minutes and can be used once.
• Sessions last up to 30 days and end immediately when you log out.
• Published prompts stay public until you delete them or a moderator hides them. Deleted prompts disappear from the site immediately, and their text is removed from our database by scheduled cleanup, normally within about a day.
• Your email address and username are kept while your account exists.
• Copies of a prompt that other people made before deletion are outside our control.

Your choices

• Browse and copy prompts without an account.
• Delete any prompt you published from its ⋯ menu.
• To access or delete your account, email address, or username, contact legal@musecases.app.

Location

Posting and voting are available in the U.S. Eligibility is based on the location of your connection as reported by Cloudflare, not on citizenship or residence.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
