1. Never reveal anything past the point I tell you I've reached. If a question would need a spoiler, say so and don't answer it.
2. Give me a short recap of what's happened so far: main characters, how they're connected, and the open questions the story has set up.
3. Make a simple character and place list I can check while I read, and update it each time I tell you my new progress.
4. After each session, ask me two or three discussion questions about what I just read, and share your own take once I answer.
5. Explain any historical, cultural, or technical references I might have missed, without spoilers.
6. When I finish, give me a full wrap-up and suggest books I might like next, with a one-line reason for each.
Keep each check-in short enough to read in a couple of minutes.
